A sport hero and why:

I used to play a lot of golf when I was younger and during that time, Nick Faldo was in his prime and I used to admire his work ethic and single mindedness to win. He was a very good professional golfer but realised his swing wasn’t good enough to win the major championships so against all advice, completely remodelled his swing. After 2 years of dedication and pure hard graft he won the Open Championship and went on to become England’s most successful golfer.

Tell us one random interesting fact about yourself:

In September 2015 I had a boat and skipper booked to fulfil a lifetime ambition to swim the English Channel. Unfortunately, my training was curtailed due to 3 shoulder operations which forced me to postpone the swim.
