3 county records, 25 club records and 26 club championships records broken in the first day of Grantham Summer Club Championships

For some swimmers our Summer Club Championship is a final gala to finish the season with a solid personal best times; for others it is a good chance to achieve early County times; and finally for others it is a final test before National Championships. No matter what the reasons, swimmers preformed outstandingly.

There were 3 swimmers who wanted to take up the challenge to cover 1500 meters with butterfly. Billy, James and Callum showed great commitment and finished it with a great time! Congratulations for showing amazing commitment and courage to all!

2 county records smashed and 7 club records broken in Nova Meet while Grantham Swimming Club finishes 4th visiting club

It was the last chance for youth swimmers to improve their national rankings in order to qualify for British/ASA championships. Although it was hard to better times after a superb Youth Midlands, some swimmers still managed to deliver very solid times.

The last round of Grand Prix delivered some outstanding results with Billy Reed moving up to 4th spot in British ranking

Billy Reed showed his domination in his age group again. Billy not only won the whole series but also achieved some impressive times. In 50 free, 50 breast and 200 IM Billy broke club records as well as Grand Prix records.

Swimmers won 21 medals (more than any other club from Lincolnshire), broke 51 club records, 12 county records and achieved some fastest times in Britain in the East Midland Youth Championships

It was absolutely stunning performance and the most successful in the club history in the East Midland Youth Championships. Swimmers showed exceptional ability to race and it was truly amazing to watch such commitment.
