With 3 gold medals, 30 club records, 9 County records and 1 time fastest in this year British ranking Grantham swimmers finished Youth Midlands

For most of the swimmers it was the last chance to qualify for National championships. The most impressive swim was again recorded by Freya Colbert who is only 13 years old but with a great spirit came second overall in 800 free, breaking club records, county record and topping again her British age group ranking.

A great group of swimmers went to Spalding. Grace Turner (2nd in the 50 breast and 2nd in the 50 fly) was the next young swimmer to secure a place in next year’s County Championships

Joshua Clarke, Billy Reed and Callum Lees win the top swimmer of the Grantham Grand Prix while James Coleman and Logan Melville qualify for the first time for County Champs

It was the final round and swimmers had to swim their best to place in the top six awarded places. Boys started with 100 IM. Joshua Clarke, James Coleman, Logan Melville and Oliver Doughty all recorded significant improvements

Solid Swims During Easter Meet in Leeds Where Billy Reed Continued to Break More Club Records

Billy Reed did it again! He broke 3 club records in the 100 backstroke, 100 and 200 butterfly with a great 7 second personal best time. Berwick George gained more confidence swimming good times in 50 and 200 breastroke. In the latter, George improved his previous time by over 6 seconds. Great!
